is to develop affordable, energy-efficient housing that empowers individuals and families—particularly Veterans, Women, LGBTQ+, and other social and economically disadvantaged individuals—to build fortitude, self-sustainability, and community resilience.

Founded by a dedicated team of a realtor and entrepreneurs with a background in community-oriented programs and spiritual services, our journey began with a shared passion for creating positive change.
As active members of various community initiatives and the real estate industry, our founders were attuned to the pulse of the community's needs. The backdrop of a municipality expressing a commitment to progressive and solution-oriented growth fueled our desire to contribute meaningfully.
Inspired by the growth of the city of Austell, the vibrant Metro Atlanta area, and the evolving state of our economy, we envisioned a future where forward-thinking initiatives could shape communities positively. Volunteering with Fertile Ground offers a great way to cultivate team-building with a purpose. We provide a variety of opportunities for groups , corporate volunteers, municipalities, housing authorities, architects, IT & Software Engineers, and contractors. When you volunteer with us, you help to enrich the lives of our residents through events such as repainting portions of our buildings or restoring properties. In addition, groups are vital to our largest volunteer events.
