Everyone affiliated with Fertile Ground — staff, volunteers, participants, partners, and community members — is expected to:

• Treat everyone with dignity and courtesy.
Harassment, harmful behavior, or abusive language is not tolerated.

• Uphold respect in every interaction.
This includes community meetings, job training sites, volunteer days, construction work, food distribution, and online engagement.

• Respect property, tools, equipment, and resources. Careful stewardship ensures safety, longevity, and shared benefit.

• Communicate constructively and professionally.
Conflict should be addressed calmly and respectfully, with support from staff when needed.

• Prioritize safety.
Follow all guidelines, especially on construction sites, training environments, and community spaces.

Failure to uphold this Code may result in removal from programs or roles where dismissal is necessary for the wellbeing of others.
