...and she rested is an intimate gathering designed to create space for connection, reflection, nourishment, and meaningful conversation among women, community builders, caregivers, leaders, advocates, healers, and changemakers.
Hosted around the firepit and food garden, this gathering invites participants to slow down, break bread, build relationships, and engage in thoughtful dialogue around the issues that shape our lives and communities. Together, we explore topics such as housing stability, food sovereignty, land stewardship, holistic wellness, leadership, spirituality, personal and community safety, economic resilience, and collective wellbeing.
Unlike traditional networking events, ...and she rested centers authentic connection over performance, conversation over competition, and restoration alongside action. It is a space where ideas are shared, relationships are cultivated, wisdom is exchanged, and community is strengthened.
