Food Access Is Community Stabilization

Fertile Ground Incorporated is building a food access and community pantry model rooted in dignity, wellness, emergency relief, and long-term neighborhood resilience.

State-Recognized Food Access Capacity

Georgia Department of Revenue recognizes FGI as a Qualified Food Bank for the purpose of purchasing eligible food and food ingredients without Georgia state and local sales tax.

More Than a Food Giveaway

This matters because it allows us to stretch donor dollars further, purchase eligible food more efficiently, and build stronger food access infrastructure for community-serving programs. We are building toward consistent, dignified, and predictable food access.

Our model may include:

  • Fresh food pop-ups

  • Community Fresh Market Days

  • Emergency pantry support

  • Produce distribution

  • Senior and household wellness boxes

  • Youth garden and food justice education

  • Cooking and nutrition workshops

  • Food rescue and vendor partnerships

  • Garden-to-community programming
